Projects

Orini Road is a sealed rural road starting from SH1B (Gordonton Road) and runs east to Whitikahu Road.  The project runs from RP 5.94 at the Rutherfurd Road/Orini Road intersection, running approximately east for 2760 m to RP 8.70 ending at the intersection of Orini Road and Tenfoot Road.

Tanlaw Corporation Limited (now Strada Corporation Limited) was the contractor for this project.

This project is located at the boundary of Waikato District and Franklin boundaries.  It is 1km long.

Okaeria Road is a sealed rural road situated east of Te Kauwhata and provides access to the forestry and farming districts to the east as well as being an alternative route over to the Coromandel.

Tahuna Road is a sealed rural road situated east of Huntly and is a common route for commuters
between State Highway One to the West and the Thames Valley to the East. The project starts South of
Rutherfurd Road and extends from R.P. 9950 to R.P. 11650, a distance of 1700m. 270m of Rutherford Road will also be treated.
 

This project involves overlay of the existing pavement with associated shoulder widening and safety improvements to the Puketaha Road intersection.
