Gardeners wanting to participate in the Best Garden Competition have only until the end of this week to return their completed entry form to Waikato District Council.
There are plenty of categories to enter, and prizes to be won. The council encourages as many residents as possible to take part.
This year’s categories include: Best street appearance; Best vegetable garden; Best rural garden; Best courtyard/patio garden; Best wetland garden; Best commercial/church/school garden; and Best overall garden.
Entries for the Best Garden Competition close this Friday 28 October 2011, with judging taking place between 11 November.
