Waikato District Council is seeking public feedback on specific Council services in their recently released Levels of Service questionnaire.
Waikato District Council Chief Executive, Gavin Ion, said ratepayers would be asked their opinion on the level of service provided for specific services such as the roading network, water supply, libraries, cemeteries, and consultation in the district.
“We want our ratepayers to tell us if they think changes are needed with our current standards of service. The feedback received will help Council plan for the future provision of a number of key services.
“It is important to remember that any changes in the levels of service may have a financial implication – your rates may increase or decrease. We have indicated these cost implications in the questionnaire where applicable,” he said.
All residents will receive a copy of the Levels of Service questionnaire in their mail this week. Further copies can be downloaded on Council’s website www.waikatodc.govt.nz/have-your-say.aspx
Feedback on the Levels of Service questionnaire must be received by Monday 23 November 2009.
