Summer is nearly here so time to dust off your motorbike and brush up on your riding skills.
The Hamilton Motorcycle Club has come together with Waikato District Council and five other local councils to provide a full day of motorcycle training at Hampton Downs on 19 November 2011.
The training day targets beginner to intermediate road riders who want to brush up their riding skills or get some practice in before taking to the roads this summer.
This will be the fourth time the event has been run and Hamilton Motorcycle Club President Bruce Delaney says feedback is always really positive. "At the end of the day riders come away with considerably greater knowledge and practical experience that will be invaluable on the road," he said.
Coaching will be provided by NZTA qualified instructor Jonathon Newman, and presented by Jon Van Den Berg, former Production Bike racer.
The cost of the course is $75 and includes lunch and free resources. More details about the course can be found on www.hamiltonmcc.org.nz or by phoning Steve on 022 096 4067 in the evenings. Be in quick as places are limited.
